I'd like to start off by saying I've been to Cavenders numerous times and all with basically good results. Today however had to be the worse customer service of anyplace I have ever been. To start off I had my three year old daughter with me for some family shopping. Employee one Johnny who was about 50 years old was making cry baby faces to employee 2 Travis and wasn't working too hard in the first place while Travis was in fact working. Bought myself some new work boots for Christmas. Justin work boots. I purchased the same model number that I have in the past because they always fit well and they were comfortable and required very little break-in time. The most recent pairs was not comfortable. They hurt my feet. I took them back to the store and one of the guys on the floor said that the reason they hurt is because they were crease because they had been in the boot box. My husband and I went here a few weeks back to scope out some new work boots for him. The young lady working with us was extremely helpful with explaining what boots would be best for my husbands work environment. We decided to come back later when we had more funds. Fast forward to today, we finally went back to get some boots, and we had an older man helping us who seemed more interested in flirting with his coworkers than helping us. I wish I could give a negative star review. I bought a pair of jeans today I had a little troubled getting waited on to pay,but no biggy.. Then a sales rep walked over and lifted up the jeans to check the pockets. I was shocked. They just lost a customer who spends hundreds of dollars there. They just lost a customer that does not steal.. Sure hope they read this. Shepherds here I come.

Very poor customer service! Found a pair boots on Cavendars online that i Liked, it was indicated that they in stock at their Burnet Road Austin Texas store. May a 25 miles trip to see if they had them in my size. Found the brand , but not the style I was looking for. Ok figure it is a large store may be they have them in a different place. I will never shop here again. Went in to get some new boots for my birthday. I tried on a lot of pairs, and found the ones I liked. First problem, there was a cut in the upper on the back of the left boot. No problem, the salesman said, he'd have a pair sent up from San Marcos. Okay, I said, and paid for the boots. I waited a week (from San Marcos to Austin, mind you) and they finally called. I go there to try them on and pick them up. The boot I pull out? The torn one I tried on the week before. This place must really be hit or miss with the customer service. Either you love it or you hate it. I HATED it. I went one night to find my daughter a pair of boots as a Christmas gift from her grandmother. We found a super cute pair and had them put on hold. Literally 24 hours later we went back to purchase the boots and had a similar experience as a lot of people here.
