I went here for the first time today in order to buy boots for my daughter. The people who work here are so very helpful. Caroline helped us with some clothes for my daughter and was very knowledgeable about what clothing they had, what would work well on my daughter, and even helped with accessories. We had a lot of fun and ended up spending two hours there. I will definitely be going back even though it is not anywhere near where we live and normally shop!
My son and I have been to Horsetown a few times now. The first time was to get him a pair of cowboy boots. The sales people were very knowledgeable and patient. We asked a lot of questions and he tried on almost every boot in the store and they have a wide selection so it was time consuming. There were two guys that helped him find the perfect boot and he says it is soooo comfortable. I am bad about names so I cannot praise the sales people by name, but they were great. They are always super helpful at Horsetown. Willing to help me find whatever I am looking for in the store, or order it for me. Usually a pretty wide selection of boots, jeans, and tack. Am there all the time and not once have they been rude or unhelpful. Carolyn was super helpful in my never ending quest for jeans.
Love this place! I have never been before and was amazed coming here. They helped me find jeans that fit me perfectly when I haven't been able to find anything like this in years! They were never pushy and helped me through the whole process. They also walked me through the boots with prices, sizes and fits to help me narrow down to what I like. Very happily amazed by the amazing service and cant wait to go back! Definitely ask for Carolyn, she is great!!
I love buying boots here. They have great sales on them. I have got other things too but they are over priced in my opinion. The boots is the way to go. I don't normal need help because I didn't liked the lady last time she didn't seem to know what she was talking about. I love lookin around at everything too. I can't wait for the next boot sale I need some for our almost toddler.
This store is fabulous! Very friendly, helpful people and amazing stock. I was looking for boots online and in stores, but couldn't find any. Nothing in adult sizes fit my small feet and children's boots had glitter and ponies on them or didn't have the adult heel style I was looking for. Same here - no luck until I asked if they had children's boots. They have a huge selection including Corral boots in the exact styles of the adult boots at less than half the price. Great experience. This place has TONS of boots & great selection of apparel/riding gear. Prices are outstanding - there are a lot of deals here and pricing is even better than you can find scouring the internet. The reason for 5 stars is exceptional service. My wife was looking for a pair of boots. She spent about an hour trying on different pairs because she has a high arch, and had a lot of trouble finding a pair that she could put on comfortably. When I first walked in to Cavender's I was left un-greeted and ignored. However, I proceeded to shop and when I was ready to purchase some jeans for my brother I was called to the next desk. The customer she was checking out before left laughing and overall seemed to have a good time with the senior employee. But when it came down to her greeting me she had a nasty look accompanied by an offensive tone. I can't help but feel like she greeted and talked to me differently because of the color of my skin.
