This place has a lot to offer although I've never been able to find a pair of boots but I think that's more so due to how picky I am. The thing that drives me absolutely crazy is how aggressive the employees are about making a sell. I'm not sure if they make commission or what but this is they second time that I've been to this location and they have literally made me leave the store before I was done shopping. When I tell you I don't need help do not continue to ask me questions and pressure me. Won't be back.
The ladies in charge are unfriendly, rude, and not customer oriented. After exchanging the same shirt for the wrong size twice because it was stocked incorrectly, I wanted to look at the ladies selection near the cash register & was told I would have to leave my bag by the counter, & was not allowed to look around with my bag. Terrible customer service! My husband purchased a pair of rain boots for a Christmas gift, they were too small. I tried to exchange them for another size, they did not have the same boot in the size I needed. I found the right size with the same brand, color and style. The pattern was the only difference. Nani I and manager have absolutely zero regard for their customer base and the hard earned dollars that get spent there by every day people . I bought a pair of Justin boots and called them as they were falling apart a month after I purchased them . Nani completely dismissed me over the phone with some flimsy policy I would have to send them off for six weeks for evaluation. I have never written an online review before but I feel the need to do so now. I understand Horsetown's policy of no returns for some items but not for a bucket heater that was purchased two days before and was not even opened. We found the same heater at Tractor Supply for $20 cheaper. The salesperson was also very rude to my husband when he returned the item. We have a lot of options for where to purchase our equine products and Horsetown will no longer be one of them.
Worse place to buy boots!! Absolutely the worse customer service I have ever experienced!! I will NEVER set foot in that store again!!
Overall my experience was not great. The manager was very rude and did not show any interest in her customers. The sales associates seemed to rush me when I was looking for the right boots. Very disappointed in the service. Also they had the nerve to tell my god mom to control her kid when he was not even misbehaving.
Great selection. Bad customer service. If you buy something that is clearly defective, this store basically tells you " tough luck". Do yourself a favor. Try on your boots here , then go to Amazon or Zappos to buy them. I would love to support a local business but not one that does not appreciate their customers.
Bought some boots on Tuesday night, called on Wed morning to see if I could exchange them for a more expensive pair (when I got home I realized that they were not waterproof) and was told that it was okay. Never wore the boots more than at the store and for about 5 minutes in my house when trying them on.
