I will never shop here again. I will drive to Alpharetta to Dover Saddlery and spend my money there. They have a tiny English section - the store caters to western. The sales people follow you around the store and ask you repeatedly if they can help you or bring the product to the front counter. It's nice the first time but gets old after 3 to 4 times being asked the same thing. They do not accept any returns. I even had problems trying to exchange a girth the same day I bought it. Purchased a helmet on Thursday took it back unworn Saturday because a cap on the top came off which was obviously a manufacturers defect and was told in no uncertain terms they did not take helmets back. Though there were no marks or mars on the helmet they refused to even exchange it for us. This policy was not stated on my receipt or on a sign in the store. The customer service has always been hit or miss but this was ridiculous. This is definitely a buyer beware type of place. We will never shop there again.

Spent a good deal of money here a few weeks ago. My girlfriends boots did not fit so we went to go exchange them after wearing them for about 30 minutes . Even though the receipt says exchange only I was fine with that. Horsetown would not exchange the boots for a bigger size becuase there was minimal wear on the bottoms .Will not go back

It is amazing this place has been in business for as long as it has. Don't confuse the over-the-top and anxious staff as customer service oriented. They stick to you like glue b/c the owners are totally paranoid of theft. Should you need actual assistance, the staff disappears or acts put out because you requested a different size jean. Out of desperation for an item and against my better judgement, I went to horse town a couple of months ago. Yep. Same paranoid NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Safe yourself the gas and shop online.

Buyer beware! Their return policy is very deceitful. They don't tell you NO REFUNDS until you've made a purchase. They say it's on the receipt and it's on the door as you are leaving.

Not sure why everyone says this place has a great selection of boots, because it's average at best. Customer service is pretty poor and like other reviews say; the return policy is pretty ridiculous. It's sad that I would rather shop on Amazon than a local store, but it makes more sense...

Maybe it's because it's their first open day after Christmas, but today's experience definitely wasn't my normal happy shopping time at Horsetown. I couldn't figure out who was a customer and who was an employee. I walked around carrying a pair of boots for ten minutes, trying to find someone who could tell me if they had the size my daughter needed. I finally found someone not busy, asked, and was told that I was holding the only pair available (I didn't get a chance to tell her what size I needed.) I searched more, and fo... read more

My husband purchased a pair of $200 boots from horsetown a month ago. He bought a wide, thinking they would be a good fit. He brought them home, wore them literally around the house to feel them out, and decided to take them back to exchange them for a regular size the next day! When he went in, he was told they would not do an exchange because the boots looked worn! Rediculous! Terrible experience. Bait and switch. They sold me the wrong size boots, and did not want to take them back. Of course they send me to all their stores and the correct size was never a available. They did not want to take the pair back. These were some of the most expensive boots they carry. What a scam!!!
