Get what you pay for - and this place is pretty cheap. Everyone is nice enough but it'd be great if there sauna was actually hot. Kind of cool they have both hot and infrared. The thing that is most annoying is air conditioning. Either it's always broken or they are too cheap to run it. It's just always so humid in there.

Gym is not bad but parking lot organization and pervasive culture of poor parking makes me not want to renew my membership.

Clean and well staffed. Good vibe. Restrooms and showers are nice and tidy. Adequate amount of machines for my needs.

Excellent equipment, friendly staff, and a clean gym. I appreciate how they have big overhead fans to circulate the air, and the background music isn't too loud, so I can use headphones if I want my own music. They also have two indoor turf areas, which are good for calisthenics and stretching. This gym can get very crowded, especially before and after work. Parking around 5-6 PM is almost impossible, and when you make it inside, you'll find that nearly every strength machine is taken. People often line up along the wall to... read more

Decent gym with some problems. There are not enough bench presses or squats with it being shared equipments. Tons of cardio equipments which is great. However, just don't join the private training here. Redwood is probably the biggest scam out there as a company with predatory practice in addition to the price being atrocious ($240 a month for 4 half an hour sessions) with mediocre quality training because of how busy the gym is. The staff at Chuze Mission Valley are top tier and greatly outperform expectations for the premium membership! The hydro and zero gravity chairs are occasionally offline but they are very prompt about keeping them operating and clean. The locker rooms are generally in good shape and repairs are made promptly. This Chuze is my fave of all for many, many reasons! Mostly the staff is friendly, fair, welcoming and efficient!
