Customer service at this location is always top notch, the employees make this location a great place to work out at and keep me coming back to it. Plenty of other gyms near my home and i still come to this gym either on my way home from work or on my days off ill drive close to 15 mins to get here. I prefer this one to the other locations in Chula Vista, National City, and La Mesa. I like to read negative reviews just for amusement. At gyms people tend to cry about the silliest things. Going to the gym via guest pass regularly and then expecting to be treated like a member and being offended by being refused entry because the member isn't present to check you in. Come on! Seriously? Giving a lower review because you had an altercation with a member? It's a gym and testosterone is flowing. Staff isn't permitted to get involved for their own safety. I have been a gym rat for 40 years, let's just leave it at that! I've exercised at Golds Gym Venice, posh places in L.A. and La Jolla and Chuze Fitness gives me the best workout experience ever. The joy endorphins immediately kick in with cheerful greetings at the entrance. It's clean, has a variety of equipment. I feel like a kid at a playground. I know the attitudes of staff are influenced by supervisors. Kyle Heathman's attitude of excellence in customer service trickles down. He runs a tight but friendly ship. Thank you... read more

I have nothing bad to say about this gym! They have everything you need and more. There is plenty of squat racks, free weights, machines, and cardio options here. The building looks old from the outside but don't let that fool you. Everything is fairly updated in this gym and very clean. The crowd is respectful and they have multiple amenities such as a smoothie bar. Parking is a bit strange, your best bet is parking in the upper lot in the back and walking through the 2nd floor to the gym. A lot of the parking directly in ... read more
