I have been a member of Chuze for several years on and off (due to the pandemic). I used to love the mission, cleanliness, staff and classes offered. It was a great neighborhood gym that made me feel welcome when I first started exercising regularly. Particularly in the past few months, the quality of this location has plummeted. The staff stand around chatting with each other a lot when they could be doing small tasks like refilling the paper in the groupX sign-up station or wiping down common area surfaces. After being a guest of my wife's gym membership for 3 years. Working out sometimes without her same time everyday no problem. Today I was told I could not work out because she is not here to sign me in. It Would have been courteous to have said next time she has to sign you in instead of being turned away. Nice job guys! I'll never come back. This is what happens when you support local businesses.

Gotta be the worst Chuze in SD county. If you like the vibe of 24 hour fitness but 1/4 of the size this gym is for you.

Great Employees, had to say though management needs an improvement and more respect to his employees. No need at all to belittle ur employees especially in front of others. Management which is exactly Geoff just makes the workouts and being there not as before. #Dobetter #betterbussinessbureau

Way too small and busy for the size of this place. You can't really ever use what you want to because there's simply too many people at any given time. They need a bigger sized free weights area so it's actually possible to use the things you want. Same with the machines, overall thinking about going somewhere else because of how packed it always is at every time of day but 5:30 am.
