On behalf of my wife Lynn B. FYI: I have been with Chuze fitness for years!!! But they REFUSED to refund $20...yes, you heard...$20! I emailed them and said it wasn't fair to start charging when I wasn't willing to go to a gym. They didn't care and said "you have to pay..pandemic or not" They have horrible customer service and would not refund $20 during a pandemic when I was not about to step foot in a gym. PLEASE do not go to CHUZE..they suck! And they don't care about YOU! Go to LA Fitness! I hear they are great w/custo... read more

Update!!! I was charged AGAIN!! Even after receiving another email confirmation that my account was canceled and no charges would be made. Wow. Husband spoke to manager there Katelyn Evans and she laughed at him. Real professional Chuze!!!! Avoid at all cost!! Continues to charge my bank account after my husband and myself have continually called to cancel! I have canceled this account now for about five times and I've even received a confirmation and today they charged my bank!!! I had pulled out all my cash two days pr... read more

CAUGHT CHUZE STEALING FROM MY BANK FOR YEARS. I joined the gym paid the one-year membership, I stopped going after the first month because I moved. Now I understand that I lost the money for the year I called to cancel, they said I had to go in and cancel in person. I went in person to cancel, the guy in the front desk was busy I sign in the black electronic pad. A few months later my noticed that payments appeared in our bank statement again. This is a great place if you're single I would guess because it's small, in fact too small for me, too little machines, the staff is great, the price is reasonable. But not for me...

They were eager to sign me up and were always friendly when I came in, however, when I was no longer able to take the time to come in, I chose to cancel my membership before the end of year and a different attitude came around. Non-refundable fees, un-changing renewals and no interest in doing anything other than taking more money upon exiting than collected throughout the year.
