Chuze overall is a great gym. The La Mesa location is one of my favorites. They recently went under renovations and it looks amazing in there. It was clean before and it didn't look bad but now it's all redone they put in a spa all new equipment and everywhere I look someone's cleaning! I love this place. Been coming here for about 4 years now. They just had a renovation and there are way more options available that were not before. The people who work here are super sweet and always welcoming. The place is always clean as well.

I have been going to chuze for several years now. I really liked switching from la fitness to chuze because the employees are friendlier, the equipment is cleaned frequently, they have tanning, hydro massage, free guest privileges, and spin classes all for less than I paid at la fitness. Great gym! Always a warm welcome and farewell from the front desk staff. The place is spotless, never have to wait to a treadmill or a workout machine. Plenty of parking at the Grossmont location. Nice to see all different ages from kids to seniors working out and levels of fitness from serious lifters to averages joes working out side by side. $10 a month is amazing.

I come here 3 to 6 times a week and I've been coming here for over a year. I see a lot of one star reviews and I cannot for the life of me understand why the manager Carlos and all the associates have been nothing but friendly and very helpful when it comes to working out the app and also any other issues I've had. I love to do the cardio here and yes sometimes it gets crowded but the other guests are very nice and are willing to work out with you who can use the machine and when. Looks big from the outside but it's fairly small. It's 2 stories, fairly amount of weights and traadmills. Walk in greeted nicely by the employees. It's nice and clean as well. Came here on a weekday evening and it's fairly bust. There were still a good amount of machines available. They have lockers but make sure you bring your own lock. Restrooms are in the back near the weights. It's pretty clean and they have showers as well. For the price for a gym membership def recommend.

I lived in San Diego three months this spring and looked at several gyms: 24Hour, ChuzeFitness, etc to find a short-term membership. Of those that I checked out, Chuze was the simplest to enroll with a clear monthly/cancellation plan. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and, although I never came during peak hours, I've never had to wait for a machine! No frills. Get in and get your workout in with some friendly staff. It's clean and simple. I've been a member for years and I am still loving the upgrades and space for us people that like to cross train.

I like this Chuze. I saw the other reviews, and I don't agree. Nothing but good experiences on my end. With that said, I have been going to Mission Valley for a while. This location in La Mesa has two things that are better: parking & better class options. I missed an indoor cycling class and the gentleman at the front was very polite, saying that it was booked but that there was a Zumba class available.
