Modern, plenty and clean equipment. Excellent instructors. I love the cycling classes. Love the locker rooms, very clean showers and private little room with mirror and hair dryer. I won't go back to any other gym!

I love this gym, everyone who works here is so darn nice!! If management here ever reads this, please somehow reward/congratulate your employees for their friendliness and positive attitude. Also, they keep this place CLEAN!! I always see an employee cleaning anything and everything when it's a little slow. Keep it up, Chuze! You have a valued customer :)

I really enjoy this gym! I'm military so I typically don't pay for a gym membership, but this is 6 minutes from home and in a great location. Chuze is really clean, has lockers available to all for free and you don't have to bring your own lock- you put in a personal code. The locker rooms have lockers as well and I think you need an actual lock to store things in there. I've taken the group classes and it's a great workout! Zumba and cycling are my favorites. Also, with my membership I can use hydromassage which is awesome!... read more

Always clean but kind of crowded. Staff is always smiling and helpful. Plenty of machines available and little to no wait times for any particular machine. Love coming here early mornings or late night to avoid the big crowds tho.

I previously was using my Medicare United Healthcare SilverSneakers membershipship at LA Fitness on Navajo Road, until that facility was somewhat abruptly closed. A lot of us ex-LA Fitness members then decided to converge upon CHUZE at Grossmont Center. I also visited a number of other different gyms, before deciding on CHUZE, so I can make comparisons... PROs PARKING: Easy parking (during early mornings) FRIENDLINESS: Very friendly front-desk staff who always say "hello" upon entering and "have a good day" when leaving EQU... read more

This will probably be my all time favorite Chuze to go to. I've been to the RB and CV locations. I started here back in February 2014. It started off as a New Years "resolution". Went there sporadically and like everyone else has but won't admit I became one of those people that paid for a membership and never went. Then came january 25th 2017. I decided to change my life and joined a weight management program. That and along with my coming to Chuze has helped me lose close to 150 pounds. Yes, that's right children. 150 pou... read more

I've been going to this Chuze for about 5 months now, and I've been consistently happy with this gym! I was previously a member of the LA Fitness in Kearny Mesa, and Chuze is an impressively affordable alternative with a comparable selection of classes/weights/machines. The facilities are always kept clean and well-cared for, and the staff is always polite and helpful. I love this location for having cycling classes! They're fun, engaging, and are a great cardio workout. The instructors all have a great attitude, and ... read more
I recently switched to this chain after 20 plus years at 24 Hour Fitness. The key reason for leaving the previous gym: facility management. This Chuze location is adequate at best. Like the other locations in San Diego, the equipment is strategically laid out to cluster machines and weights that focus on certain body areas. The staff at all locations friendly, efficient and helpful; definitely no attitude. Where the La Mesa location truly falters is the men's locker room. Whoever got paid for designing the area should b... read more
This is a nice gym with a very pleasant and professional crew. Good assortment of machines and free weights. Can get a little crowded during peak times, but I've never had to wait for equipment like I had to at 24hr!
