Awesome gym, love coming to this location. No matter the time of day the staff is super friendly, and make sure you have the best work out possible.
I joined Chuze about 3 weeks ago and have going about 3x a week so far (trying to go more, but I am a graduate student with a demanding schedule hah!). I love this gym so far! The employees are all very welcoming, attentive, personable and helpful. I love the locker system and how easy it is to work- never have a problem finding an empty one even at busy times. Tried 3 of the classes so far and I like their class check in system and how they call in the order that signed up by your ticket number- haven't seen that from a gy... read more
This gym really is the bees knees. I have the $20/mo membership so I can get the hydromassage, classes, and a free guest pass EVERY VISIT. I mainly use the upstairs treadmills and cardio room. The cardio room could be bigger, but if you go before 5pm, it's fine. They have cycle classes, however I wish they had spin classes like SoulCycle or SparkCycle because there are no classes like that around East County. Love, love, love this gym! I was a member a few years ago and loved it then. Love it even more now. $9.99 monthly fee, $40 to start membership and $40 annual fee for equipment maintenance. A bargain to stay healthy and fit! Its rarely crowded. Theres a fabulous restroom with everything u could need. I also love the filtered water addition to the drinking fountain and the super easy locker system. No need to bring a lock... Just use any 4 digit number to lock and unlock small or large lockers. On a slow Saturday afternoon last October, a thief broke the lock on my locker and stole my purse, keys, and gym bag and used all my credit and debit cards in the 30 minutes I worked out. I haven't been back to the gym since. It might seem odd to leave a mostly good rating, but I'd always meant to leave a very positive review before this happened, and I don't blame the gym. Awesome place to workout. Staff is nice and have enough equipment for everyone to use. If you can avoid the 5-8 rush where everyone wants to use it at the same time. The treadmills are always open just the strength building machines are filled during this time. Other than that it works well. Hoping they install a sauna maybe or a basketball court if possible but that's wishful thinking.

It is true that we get pretty busy from 5 pm - 8 pm, Mon-Thur, but have a lot of equipment for our members to use. I left 24 hr because they can't keep their gyms or their locker rooms clean. This Chuze is amazingly clean, and the equipment is always up to date. The staff when I go, late at night, is wonderful- helpful and knowledgeable and super-friendly. The phone app is easy to use, and updated. I'm hooked!

I had SERIOUS doubts about a $10/month gym!!! I avoided trying it for this very reason. UGH I spent YEARS disappoint at both 24HF and LAFitness...UGHHH!! Wish I switched sooner. This gym is so new and spacious. They have TONS of machines, even at peak times you can ALWAYS find a machine to jump on. Everyone is SO nice! Machines are kept clean and serviced. All around great gym. The only bummer is the class schedule/selection. I wish there were early-morning classes :-/

Smaller than some that I have been to, but I like the atmosphere here. Staff is always friendly and helpful, always cleaning, the guests are always wiping machines and its close to home. I only wish they had a pool that would be 6 stars lol.
