Surf City Pediatrics is a phenomenal pediatric medical practice. Dr. Bennett has been my daughter's doctor for 10 years, ever since she was born. We have also seen other doctors in the practice, as well as the physician's assistant, and nurse practitioner. They are all fantastic! My daughter looks forward to going into the doctor's office. Dr. Bennett, Dr. Pepek and the staff at Surf City Ped have been always phenomenal to me and my son. He has been going there since birth (nearly nine years). My son has special needs and despite what other non-sane reviews have said Dr. Bennett is one of the kindest and most attentive folks I could have ever asked for in a doc for my son. Dr. Bennett is fabulous. As a new mom, having a pediatrician who takes time to answer your questions and listen to your concerns is invaluable. She is very focused on your child when she is with you even though I'm sure she has a lot going on with running her practice. I also met Dr. Pepek in the mother/baby unit and she was great as well. Both are kind, thoughtful, and have a gentle touch with babies. I can't recommend them enough!

FLU EMERGENCY! What do you do when your child wakes up with the flu and it's the day before high school finals???? Fever, body aches, headache, sore throat, can't get out of bed to cram for exams? Called Surf City Pediatrics in a panic. I got an appointment with Dr. Kasamatsu and she prescribed meds. By the next morning, my son magically felt great, hopped out of bed and went to school. Within 24 hours, he said he felt 99.9% better! Amazing!!!! We are so thankful to Dr. Kasamatsu and Surf City Pediatrics!!!

We been going to Surf City Pediatrics since 2005. We love Laurie, and Sonya, they are always so sweet and accommodating to patients need, I have met most of the doctors there and they are also so caring and wonderful with communicating with patients and parents.

We had a hard time finding a pediatrician. We were planning on a home birth, but are pro vaccines and so we faced a lot of negative feedback in our search. One pediatrician spent the entire interview trying to convince me to switch to a hospital birth... Excuse me? Not what I'm here for thaaaanks. My son has been with this group since he was a baby over 16 years. All the physicians here are nurturing. We can get a same day appointment when it's urgent. His primary care physician Dr. Michelle Bennett is excellent. She is very knowledgable, thorough and addresses every concern. The staff is respectful and patient. Nurse responds quickly to answer questions.
