On May 5, 2014, our neighbor in west Houston had Coit Services clean their carpets. The technician (Coit van #5) backed into our brick mailbox, taking a chunk of brick at the level of his bumper and seriously bending the steel mailbox handles (that are now rusting), causing deep scratches is the right rear of the van. He first denied causing the damage, claiming it was someone else visiting our house. LIARS and THEIVES This has been the most AWFUL, annoying experience of all time. DO NOT hire them, call JOhn Moore. We had Coit over to give us a quote on cleaning our Ducts, quote was very reasonable so we hired them. We gave them a credit card to hold a deposit and then they said they would charge the rest after service was completed. In Jan 2013 we had our ducts cleaned by Coit Cleaning and Restoration in Houston, TX My husband was at home when our work was done and tells me that the team leader was rude and unprofessional. They left our home a mess. When asked to clean up after themselves they obtained a rag from their truck and cleaned with it. To top that off.....they spray painted the ac vent covers white while still on our ceilings thus my tan ceilings around the vents are white. Such a sloppy job. I see COIT commercials on TV and see red! One of their workmen came to my house after my usual guy (a one man operation who was wonderful!) had been injured in an accident. He immediately started going on about how much better COIT is. I had to call for a re-do of my carpets because the first COIT guy left so much dirt behind, and the next one walked in making excuses and hardly touched the areas that needed work. WAY too much money for WAY too little service! Never again!

Complete failure of services provided and customer service. We recently had a horrible experience dealing with COIT for tile and grout cleaning, carpet and air duct cleaning and experienced a complete failure of services provided and a lack of professionalism by their management team. Please keep in mind that of the three crews scheduled to come out, none arrived during their scheduled time. I called Coit about a month ago. They came out and cleaned my dryer vent. Our dryer vent is 25 feet off the ground, so they sent 2 workers out to clean it (one to hold the ladder and one to climb it). Great service, no problems. However, last week, the dryer vent got clogged again. I called Coit. Customer service said they would come out at no charge and clean it again.
