Horrible customer service! If you're in need of air duct cleaning, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE COIT. The technician did a lousy job and we now have to hire another company to do the work. $1,500 down the drain. Don't expect help when you try to call the Houston branch for customer service. Pitiful!

I have two new kittens that I've had about 3 months. I clean their litter every day, and they've been great about using it. So imagine my surprise when I came home last night to find they had pooped and peed on my couch. I called COIT the next morning, told them what had happened and that the couch was cotton velvet. We wanted to have our air ducts cleaned, along with our dryer vent, after having renovations done in the home including having a complete hvac system replacement. Research was done regarding air duct cleaning and a common scam is to for companies come and say you have mold without any scientific testing and charge a higher price. I had an appointment to get a quote for duct cleaning. We confirmed for Thursday but they put down Friday in their system. Thankfully they called to confirm so that we could reschedule for a day when I was actually home. I agreed to the quote and was told they would do the work two days later. On that day no one showed up and no one called. The techs arrived at my home and within 10 minutes after arrival went straight to private bathroom in master suite and sit on commode for twenty minutes. He did ask NOT permission and he went past guess bathrooms to use private toilet. Can you imagine a stranger in your private toilet for 20 minutes and the smell. The services were just average for the cost, and the invasion of privacy make it not worth it. They would not move bed to clean under it. Terrible service and quality of work. They were hired to do a duct change out for the house we had recently moved into. After 6 times being scheduled out, they never finished the job. Each time they came out to work it was a different tech, and they changed the original bid price every time. To make things worse, they complained about the previous tech and blamed the changes on them. Sometimes they didn't show, other times changed the schedule without letting us know. The young man who came to clean my air vents did a HORRIBLE job! He did not clean ALL the vents even though the estimate listed the number he couldn't be bothered to count. He also left a MESS in almost every room. It was not worth it and it was very expensive. I have seen other cleaners who also used some type of brush attachments and none of that was used to clean my houses air vents. Don't bother with this service from this company. I won't anymore.

And another follow-up to the saga ... After my last post a gentleman called to say that he had sent me a refund check which I said I appreciated but had not received. He said he was putting another check in the mail and politely asked that if I did receive 2 checks would I send one back. I assured him I would. Well, today a refund check arrived. Yep, they finally made good on that promise and now, I'm happy to say, I'm done with Coit for good. Gayle E

We sent a beautiful antique Persian wool rug to be cleaned by Coit and they returned it to us with color bleed and discoloration. They took the rug back to see if they could restore it and then they supposedly lost my rug. This is a $1200 rug that was purchased from an antique rug dealer. This is not a rug from Macy's or Walmart. After several weeks of calling trying to find out the status they finally admitted yesterday that they cannot find the rug.
