"40% price" for 4 upholstered chairs in my parent's old folks home was over $400.00. Very disappointing and not my previous experience with Coit. Call to supervisor not returned.

Coit HOUSTON was such a nightmare to deal with from start to finish. Unfortunately my time constraint forced me to go with this company. When I called to make an appointment the rep told me the only night a week they worked later was Wednesday, I don't get home from work until 5 and the wait for a Saturday appointment was a month out so I was happy to wait the weeks and a half for a Wednesday appointment. Dishonest company. First they want you to set up an appointment for a free estimate and try to sell you on a 40% discount for all of their services, but as soon as they come to your home they give you a sorry excuse about you not having enough air vents to qualify for the 40% discount. Instead, they offered to throw in a free ($75 value) sanitizer with clean. Meanwhile, the estimate comes out to be over $500. Hired this location to steam clean 2 bedrooms, hallway and stairway. Was quoted one price on the phone which included stain remover. Another price was given by the technicians. Carpet was dirty with numerous stains, stain are still there and looks like they just smeared dirty water back onto carpet cause carpet is crusty. Not impressed. I could have done a better job myself.

I recently had our living room area rug cleaned and they take it with them. On Friday, my husband was home when they returned the rug. They returned the wrong rug. I completely understand that mistakes happen. I called and left a message with the delivery guy. He indicated that he would contact the office. No response. I called on Saturday and was told that my rug was to be delivered on Tuesday. I asked to speak with a manager and she said she would have one contact me. They wasted my whole day.They expect you to wait for them from 7am to 6pm for an estimate. This is not the way you treat clients. I chose to go with a different company Modern stone to restore my slate floors.

Today (23-Jun-15), they've called three times. I have called their customer service department in February, March, May and June of this year to specifically address their constant calling. Absolutely no effort has been made to stop calling. My understanding, from numerous conversations with COIT Customer Service, is that my name is placed on a "list for removal" when I ask them to stop calling. Called ahead and was given a price of $129.00 to clean garage apt and stairs. When he arrived I was told $133.00 +$25.00 Fee + Tax. I think they should have told you there was a fee on top of what was quoted? Also it changed just enough so you let it go. Final price was approximately 30% more.
