Can't say enough of how pleased I am with the care my Mother is receiving. She seems to be settling in very nicely and adjusting very well with the help of the wonderful staff. Especially [names removed]. You are angels!
COVID-19 has impacted us all. Pacifica has implemented strong measures to protect the residents. Masks are frequently distributed, all visitors must check-in at the front desk. Everyone including all the employees must pass a health inspection daily to enter. Pacifica is keen to keep the COVID-19 off property. These efforts complement other sanitation endeavors including hand sanitizers and frequent daily cleaning. I strongly believe Pacifica is providing us with the best protection available.
The Coronavirus has impacted all of us. At Pacifica Senior Living most of the residents are over 60 years of age. Advanced age weakens immune systems. Many older people also have health issues compromising immunity. These age and health matters, lowering immunity, render assisted living resident at increased Coronavirus risk. In general, the cleanliness at Pacifica is great. The resident's rooms could, however, use more frequent cleaning. This community is laid out in a cottage style, which means fewer interactions, which is great for my mother. We love the layout of this community. The care seems to be 1:1, which tends to be a little low for the needs of the residents. My mother does not participate in many activities, but they are always available if she should want to. We have been blessed to find [name removed] and the rest of the wonderful staff here in Palm Springs at Pacifica Senior Living. We love our Aunt and want to have the best for her, and she tells us daily she feels at home which is exactly what we want as well. Keep up the good work you do here and may God touch those who reach out to help others. I want you all to know how much I appreciate your sacrifice of time, family and well being to take care of me. I feel quite safe and secure here, not having to deal with the outside.
Witnessed great improvements in physical facility, staff, sales, and mgmt have turned it around!! Food qualities has improved greatly and activities offer so much more to residents. Reaching out to demographics of city has helped incrementally too. Congrats on updating the ship!!
