TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The food itself was good, but price was pretty steep for what it was.. $16 for two pieces of chicken, a few fixin's, fries, & a drink. It was worth like half that if you ask me. The ambiance was kinda weird, service & staff were pretty good.
Awesome chicken sandwiches with friendly customer service. Highly recommended based off my 1st time experience and I don't say that very often.
I first tried Dave's Hot Chicken years ago in LA and loved it. Because of this, I was really excited to try Dave's now that it's in Texas. I ordered the #2, which comes with two sliders and fries. The sliders have kale slaw, pickles, and Dave's sauce. I also added cheese to both sliders for like an extra dollar. The chicken was disappointing as it was really salty and a bit dry. Definitely add cheese to the sliders it's worth it. Fries were also spicy which is nice. Plus staff was friendly and gave me a sticker. Shout out to Joseph.
Everything that we had was amazing! We got the two slider meal with fries, single tender [for our sons], and a side of mac n cheese. We got mild or plain for the heat level. Can't wait to go back!
Dave's Hot Chicken is THAT girl. I was impressed. Chicken tender was juicy with a perfectly crisp coating. I'll def be back.
Oh my goodness! Do yourself a favor and go eat here immediately!! Just be warned that you'll want to go back and spend more money there. Haha! It's so good!! The sliders are huge! I ordered two and could barely finish one. The Mac and cheese was just ehh... But it wasn't bad at all! Too creamy for my personal taste. My son would have loved it if he had been with me! Dip your sandwich in the sauce and drizzle some honey on top of it, and you'll reach culinary perfection! So amazing!
Holy crack. The most tender juicy and crunchy chicken strips. The exterior coating is thin but some of the crunchiest I've ever had. The spice levels are out of this world. I love spicy food but the hot was definitely hot And had me pausing to compose myself between bites. I think the chicken tenders are the way to go. make a sandwich with some extra honey, pickles and bread that they give you in that box.
