TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

terrible service,my kids were cleaning the chairs in the outdoor area seating because it rained that morning,it had alot of water on them. this lady came out yelled ,don't put the water down. I asked her why she yelled she completely ignored me and didn't even acknowledge.If i could give a zero i would, Zero to customer service, you guys have terrible staff. this Lady was working on Wednesday August 12th 2025 7.14 pm.
Food was great. Atmosphere is borderline obnoxious. Music pegged to 10 so everyone in the restaurant is yelling to hear each other. Highly recommend to go orders
First time coming here and last. The chicken was bland , had the mild sauce with Cajun fries and ranch. Only reason I came here was because of the hype. Should have saved my money and spent it else where. The service was great, just the food needed help.
horrible service. they got my boyfriends order wrong three times, and i found hair in the food aswell. super rude staff, and i didnt even get a refund on this order. do better.
Selling to Subway Owners no freaking thanks. Now I have to be concerned about the ingredients when that was an initial big marketing pull. You lost a customer.
Almost $30 dollars for 4 pieces of chicken and fries. Not including the 3.00 drinks. What a robbery that was.
Absolute garbage , churches chicken is better than this overpriced and well below average chicken.
I have had daves hot chicken many times and its usually a fairly decent experience however: this most recent time we received raw chicken tenders and my nieces and nephews had already eaten several pieces. The most unfortunate part is that when you call in to the restaurant, you aren't able to speak to a person and the automated system says the kitchen can be busy and to go online to reach a rep. Not up to what I expected. Food was on par with KFC. Service was acceptable and attentive. Portions were small.
