TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We enjoyed our visit to Dave's Hot Chicken. The employees welcomed us warmly upon arrival and our food arrived very fast. Everything was delicious! Huge portions. The seasoning on the chicken was a bit too much for me at times, but the kale slaw and pickles were delicious and complimented my sandwich well. Definitely a new favorite restaurant to put in our mix!
Big pieces of chicken that were very well seasoned. It was a ton of food. The sliders seems like the size of a small chicken sandwich as opposed to a slider. The kale slaw was very good and necessary part of the "slider". I wasn't a fan of just tender as I rather get the sliders . The fries were typical fries and sauce was fine for the slider.
Food was great. Medium spice was perfect for me. Slider with cheese is where it is at. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean and nice artwork. Only 3 combos but all you need for a delicious meal.
Great service and staff very friendly, cashier Nayelis greet us with a smile, once we arrived. The chicken and fries were pretty good. Definitely will be coming back!
Went here TWO days in a row!! The food is good honestly.. I ordered to go, and it was ready when I arrived. I ordered the number 2, which is the two sliders and fries. You can substitute it for cheese fries or even Mac and cheese. The chicken strips are big and coated with a dry rub and take and they give you enough fries.
This place hits the spot every time! Chicken is juicy, bread is soft and tasty and the fries are delicious too.
It was very good. I got the medium flavor to try it out. I just wish the chicken would cover the entire bun. However I definitely will come back!!
I love the design and set up of this place. The staff was very friendly and had the food out quick. However the chicken was SO salty, I had to take most of the breading (which is the whole point in hot chicken) to even eaten the chicken because I couldn't get past how awful the salt intake was. The frys and Mac n cheese were average, nothing to rave over.
Halal friendly, juicy fried chicken sliders and tenders can be found here! You have the option of selecting your spice level on both the tenders and sliders! They only have 3 combo options (i.e., #1. 2 tenders; #2. 2 chicken sliders; #3. 1 tender, 1 slider), which makes it pretty easy to order and you can choose a different spice level for each!
