I've now had my order messed up both times that I've been here. The first time it was missing cheese when I paid extra for it. The last time I ordered in person and received a completely wrong order. Instead of buns I received white bread and I guess the cook thought it would make it all better if they threw in an extra chicken. No one told me they would be out of buns and I'm assuming because it was a to go order they thought I wouldn't notice until I got home. They were right. Daves-2 Me-0

Nice big juicy tenders but the coating is so salty I couldn't even finish it. Shame, I've been wanting to try this place out for a while. Plenty of other Nashville style chicken places in the area that don't overdo it on the salt and still have great flavor.

I didn't have such a great experience with this place. Under cooked chicken is not what I ordered. My stomach was not happy. Plus the taste bleh.

Maybe it being a Friday evening, the dine in area was dirty, and tables were not cleaned by staff between visitors. Soda fountain had no carbonation, and the napkins were not right for eating tenders with your fingers. Most of all, the style of hot chicken being a dry rub (unlike Nashville-style) made it salty and unpleasantly dry for what most hot chicken is. Had expected better given the high ratings, but many likely have not had Nashville-style hot chicken to compare it to.

Unfortunately, this Dave's is barely like the original. My biggest issue is that the heat levels are not what they should be. Either they are not seasoning like they should or seasonings have been changed but the Reaper in Plano,TX is the Hot in LA/Hollywood. Doesn't make much sense becoming a chain if you don't uphold the standards that DHC started with.

The family and I got food poisoning. Uber refunded us but it'll be a while before I give this place another shot.

I am a regular customer but usually I eat in the restaurant and my order is perfect. Toddy I could not take the heat so I ordered my food for carry out and had my husband pick it up and all f my cheese fry orders had no cheese and all the woman wanted to do is refund the cheese I had to tell her I'm not eating these fries so she refunded $8 for the fries after he burned gas and came out in this heat . So unacceptable she could've given a gift card or something look at this picture where is the cheese ?
Not impressed - offered different levels of spicy hot . We ordered mild - tasted hot and that's ALL YOU COULD TASYE -won't waste my && here - tried and failed miserably

not a fan at all. the batter threw me off. its not light, not soggy, nor crispy. its like it was painted on or something. so hard to describe. i think the high ratings are due to the seasonings? fries were fine and so was the cole slaw but $15 for 2 tenders, sides and a drink is a bit much.
