Definitely worth a try -- several tries, in fact, because the chicken comes in many gradations of heat and it may take you a while to arrive at the one you prefer. The chicken is brined, coated with Indian-style spices, and deep fried, so attaining the right balance of heat and cumin is a matter of personal taste. Finally tried this place after passing it up for other fast food. Our family ordered 3 #3s and a #2. My wife ordered the #2 medium heat , 1 #3 mild and 2 #3s hot. The hot was had just the right heat, I'm glad I didn't get anything hotter. The sliders were a little bit bigger than a normal slider, for my fat ass it was the right amount. We got a side of kale coleslaw and a side of mac n cheese. The slaw needed some spice, it was a little bland for my taste. dude best chicken ever i loved the sauce too!! i got a small meal but it was super filling and the mac and cheese was on point dawg 10/10 recommend i got like the first level of spice and it packed some heat it was soooo good bruh i would take like anyone here for a good first impression or somethin also i ordered to go and it was ready hella fast too

My husband Dave and I stopped in for a quick lunch. Had to try his namesakes hot chicken right? The place was very clean and lots of people eating lunch. Fun artwork on the walls. We had the #2 and #3. I got mild spice and my husband got regular. My Dave said it could be spicier so he will step it up next time! The sliders were excellent!! Eaten here a few times and wanted to say I highly recommend this location in Port Hueneme. It was clear to see employees were working hard and very respectful. Shoutout to the two that helped us, Jacob and Jasmine.
