TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

They have a small selection of food but it actually is pretty filling and it was pretty good. The food was spicy but it was still pretty good. I had my friend order food and go in so I can't say how the atmosphere is or the service but she had no complaints coming back so I take that as a good sign that this place is good and friendly.

1st time trying this place. I don't like spicy so I ordered their chicken sandwhich Mild with a side of mac&cheese. I really enjoyed it, the sandwhich was simple yet tasty and chicken was cooked nicely. I loved the pickles served with the sandwhich. The mac&cheese was awesome, it was cheesy and delicious. Will be back for more soon!

Good quality chicken tenders with light buttermilk batter dredged in hot flavor coating. Decent size for price. Excellent kale slaw. Quick service. It's become a standard fave. Especially the online ordering.

This was my first visit and I was very excited that there is a new chicken place near the Navy base, giving us more lunch time options. The menu is very simple and I ordered the third combo, which included one chicken slider and one chicken strip. All you have to do is select the heat level and your order is complete. I love hot and spicy food, so I selected the slider to have the highest level (Reaper) and the chicken strip was the third highest level (Hot). I wanted to say Jacob was so friendly he has excellent customer service he made me feel like I was a friend not a customer there should be more people like him out.
