Mmmm. SO GOOD. For once, those commercials with the people dramatically freaking out over how good the chicken is, are not false advertising! I stopped in for lunch and ordered the meal with two chicken sliders, thinking they were actual (small) sliders but to my surprise, they were normal sized sandwiches! I don't know how Dave did it, but he managed to make the chicken AND fries taste very unique/different from other fried chicken joints. It was a fantastic experience I was not expecting. I don't know what kind of magic Dave's working in that kitchen, but this place absolutely slaps. The chicken is crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned -- like it got a PhD in flavor. You bite into it and just KNOW you're not going back to plain old tenders again. I got the spicy combo with fries and slaw, and every bite was perfection. Got fast service, delicious fresh hot chicken, lots o' fries (more than a portion) on a rainy day to go. Love the perfectly spiced tenders. "Hot" is perfect! Had enough for leftovers.
The food and service is great. It doesn't take long at all to get your food. The people are very nice and the chicken is very seasoned.
Would've gone 3 1/2 stars if available. First time trying - and really didn't live up to the hype for me. Thought it was just okay. Customer service was fantastic however if it is your thing.
