Dave's Hot Chicken was as it said on the menu, pretty dang hot but also very tangy and nice. Maybe it's cause I ordered Mild but the two sliders and cheese fries were great and the pickles were a nice touch to an already awesome meal. Service was great and it was kinda loud but hey, it's common with most fast food joints round here and it wasn't so loud I can blow my ears off nor was it as quiet as a mouse. Overall Dave, your chicken was freaking hot, smooth, cheesy, and creamy 10/10 would go again.

Let me preface by saying that I'm someone who thinks Buffalo chicken wings are hot. I ordered the medium spice (the middle option out of their scale of 7 possible heat levels ranging from No Spice to Reaper) and it was HOT. So much so that my mouth was on fire and couldn't exactly enjoy the rest of my meal because I was too focused on getting the heat out of my mouth. Dave's Hot Chicken is to die for. I was so excited to see they opened in Newton and couldn't wait to try it. I hardly ever eat food like this so I went when I was having a bad day to treat myself, and It was so worth it. I got a single hot tender which was pretty big and filling. It was served on a piece of toast with a side of sauce and pickles. The crunch and flavor was perfect and it totally hit the spot. You have to try it!

Dave's Hot Chicken is Newton is a solid 12/10. First off, the chicken sandwiches are out of this world. The slider bread, kale slaw, and pickles in addition to the chicken make this the perfect sandwich! The spice levels are perfect for anyone-from those who don't want any spice all the way to the more daring spice fanatics. Solid chicken sandwich a bit outside of Boston in Newton! One mix up people may have is to mistake a slider for a small chicken sandwich but it is a decent size for 1 person! We got their slider, some fries, and a strawberry milkshake. To my surprise, since I am not a huge sandwich fan, I was pleasantly surprised by how filling and yummy everything was! Tried Dave's for the first time recently (ordered delivery) and was shocked by how SALTY everything was. So salty both my boyfriend and I couldn't finish it. I don't know if this was maybe a fluke, but because of how overwhelmingly salty everything was, I don't know that I'd eat here again. 3 stars because the sauce was delicious and the fries and chicken were good, but the seasoning was way too much. We also got medium spice and didn't feel it was spicy at all.
