Love the chicken. Little trick I found was if you just want the chicken without the fries and coleslaw, you can order them individually (it's small print on the menu that's basically hidden) and it's cheaper. One of the staff members introduced me to putting their honey on the chicken, sooo good!

Dave's Hot Chicken was as it said on the menu, pretty dang hot but also very tangy and nice. Maybe it's cause I ordered Mild but the two sliders and cheese fries were great and the pickles were a nice touch to an already awesome meal. Service was great and it was kinda loud but hey, it's common with most fast food joints round here and it wasn't so loud I can blow my ears off nor was it as quiet as a mouse. Overall Dave, your chicken was freaking hot, smooth, cheesy, and creamy 10/10 would go again.
Let me preface by saying that I'm someone who thinks Buffalo chicken wings are hot. I ordered the medium spice (the middle option out of their scale of 7 possible heat levels ranging from No Spice to Reaper) and it was HOT. So much so that my mouth was on fire and couldn't exactly enjoy the rest of my meal because I was too focused on getting the heat out of my mouth. Place is awesome food is always good here. Little expensive but worth it. Drinks don't come with meals

Dave's Hot Chicken is to die for. I was so excited to see they opened in Newton and couldn't wait to try it. I hardly ever eat food like this so I went when I was having a bad day to treat myself, and It was so worth it. I got a single hot tender which was pretty big and filling. It was served on a piece of toast with a side of sauce and pickles. The crunch and flavor was perfect and it totally hit the spot. You have to try it!
