Food was meh, not bad, medium spice was not spicy at all, kale slaw was wet and soggy.

Great addition to takeout (or eat in) chicken fare! Pick you hot level. Massive but tender.... ahhhh, tenders! Sliders are excellent, as are the fries and coleslaw. Yeah, I'm going back!
Visited again last week, place was not like the last, trash was not overflowing and tables were clean. We enjoyed this visit much more than last time.
This is a mixed review because overall flavor and juiciness of the chicken is on point but I'm questioning the "hot" in dave's hot chicken! I can definitely handle a good amount of spice so the first time I went I got a medium and a hot. I did my research and was expecting my mouth to be on fire with hot. But my experience was very much not. Flavor was good but minimal heat! I thought maybe I need to up it. Love the chicken. Little trick I found was if you just want the chicken without the fries and coleslaw, you can order them individually (it's small print on the menu that's basically hidden) and it's cheaper. One of the staff members introduced me to putting their honey on the chicken, sooo good!
Dave's Hot Chicken was as it said on the menu, pretty dang hot but also very tangy and nice. Maybe it's cause I ordered Mild but the two sliders and cheese fries were great and the pickles were a nice touch to an already awesome meal. Service was great and it was kinda loud but hey, it's common with most fast food joints round here and it wasn't so loud I can blow my ears off nor was it as quiet as a mouse. Overall Dave, your chicken was freaking hot, smooth, cheesy, and creamy 10/10 would go again.
Let me preface by saying that I'm someone who thinks Buffalo chicken wings are hot. I ordered the medium spice (the middle option out of their scale of 7 possible heat levels ranging from No Spice to Reaper) and it was HOT. So much so that my mouth was on fire and couldn't exactly enjoy the rest of my meal because I was too focused on getting the heat out of my mouth.
