Tried it for the first time last night and really liked it. The place was jumping at 10 pm, and there was a long line. That made me confident the food would be good, and it was. I had the chicken fingers platter and it was delicious -- the chicken was done just right, and the fries that came with it were very good too. I tried the mac and cheese for a side, and it was just meh, so I will try the slaw next time. Just straight up really good fried chicken, super crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. If you can handle spice definitely go spicier than you would normally because the spice "scale" is on the milder side

I visited Daves during there promotion for Drake's birthday. I was very excited to try out this chicken sandwich since I knew Drake was affiliated with the company and for myself being a lover of spice. The sandwich was good, I ordered the hot spice level which was moderately spicy and not overbearing for my taste, I actually should have gotten extra hot for more of a kick. Dave's Hot Chicken was so delicious! I ordered the meal with two sliders and fries and honestly it was too much food for me and I should've gotten just one slider lol. The chicken was perfectly cooked. I got extra hot and I didn't feel like it was too spicy for me (but I like spicy food). The fries were nice and crispy. The sauce was everything. I also tried the Mac and cheese and didn't think it was bad but it wasn't amazing. I ordered for pickup and got my order pretty quickly. Definitely would return!

Very good i enjoyed the food. the tender was very well spiced nd the mac nd cheese was cheesy nd creamy. fries were good as well

This is probably hands down the best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had! I was not expecting much at Dave's Hot Chicken because there's so many spicy chicken sandwich joints out here in NYC but I was pleasantly surprised! I got the mild which was perfect for someone who can't handle super spicy foods- it was super flavorful and had a nice kick. Overall, I am very pleased with Dave's Hot Chicken and I look forward to coming back.

This place always has a long line and I finally had the chance to try it. We shared the Dave's #2 between 2 people, which is two sliders and one fries. We tried one medium and one spicy slider. The spicy slider definitely packs a punch. I preferred the medium spicy version. The kale slaw goes very well with the chicken. I don't usually like crinkle first but I was a fan of theirs. It was very crispy and well seasoned. Although lines are long, they move quickly so it's worth queuing up (or ordering ahead online)
