TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This place always has a long line and I finally had the chance to try it. We shared the Dave's #2 between 2 people, which is two sliders and one fries. We tried one medium and one spicy slider. The spicy slider definitely packs a punch. I preferred the medium spicy version. The kale slaw goes very well with the chicken. I don't usually like crinkle first but I was a fan of theirs. It was very crispy and well seasoned. Although lines are long, they move quickly so it's worth queuing up (or ordering ahead online)

I order hot as spice level which was perfect for me. The chickens were soft with good texture. They go well with the fries. Very good price. It can be crowded sometimes becuase it's so good
Finally got around to trying Dave's hot chicken and it was DELICIOUS!!! We ordered the 2 chicken slider and French with a side of Mac n cheese. The chicken on its own is alright but when you have it with their sauce the whole thing comes together sooo beautifully!! So amazing i think i want to go back again soon. The French fries and the Mac' n cheese were really good too!!
The service is great service and the server was had I tipped 15% and it was spicy and the spice choices were very helpful. The food was great the food was great the food was great the place and the food was so good
Came here due to all of the reviews and all the social media attention. I was in the area so decided why not give it a shot. They have locations in other areas besides nyc. So, this is the only place nearby. Didn't know what to expect. This place is no frills and pretty chill. They don't have a public restroom so just know that.
