Okay - so I've seen this place and thought to myself - another chicken place. I figured it's just another place that covers the chicken in a sauce- but I was pleasantly surprised. Keven greeted me and walked me through their spice levels - so on the side of using good judgement I went for a medium 2 strip dinner. First time here. Dave's hot chicken has been open for a while now and I've been wanting to try them. I must say, they were better than expected. Their chickens were not greasy and they have different levels of heat. Some people may be afraid to try them thinking they won't be able to handle the heat. I ordered their hot chicken sandwich with fries at the hot heat level. The fries were seasoned and really good. The chicken had a good flavor. I dined at Dave's Hot Chicken today and the experience was decent overall. My favorite part of the experience is the decor because it's fun, loud and very colorful and makes the space feel energetic as soon as you enter - especially being greeted by Dave the chicken swirling along side a tornado lol saying "there is no place like Dave's!" Daughter got Single slider basket deal. Mild level. Was the perfect spicy. Daughter ordered this. She is not into spicy too much. She said she wants to try a level up on spice next time. Her recommendation (11year old) is to smother it with honey. She is addicted. Basket comes with fries. Drinks sold separately. Cheesy fries. The way the cashier guy explained it to me was that. Chicken is good and you can select how hot you want it. Their hottest is way hot all the way to no heat at all. Down side is the heat is a dust and not a liquid so it can have a rough texture leaving a film in your mouth but well worth giving it a try. Staff is not real friendly. Kind of get the feeling they don't really want to work there.

It was my first visit and they were very helpful. I wasn't sure if I wanted the medium or hot so I was able to get one each. I won't say which one I preferred but I will say they live up to the "hot" part of their name. I fully recommend this place and can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

Fantastic chicken, perfectly cooked and juicy, and well-cooked fries with just the right amount of seasoning. I've been here three times in the last few months and each time was a smash.

Our first time here and it was great! The restaurant is clean and fun. Lots of cool art work on the walls. The food was incredible and huge pieces of chicken. 1 tender here is 2 1/2 of Canes. The lady who took our order was great as well. Service overall for fast food was great. Definitely would come back again.
