Food was great never been here before. Got two chicken tenders. That were huge fries were wonderful. The Dave's sauce was spicy but flavorful you can get it many different types of spice and it's rubbed in. I got medium and it was fine. We definitely go hotter next time cool ambience with the music playing. Not cheap but no fast food as these days service was impeccable definitely go back.

We were in the mood for some hot chicken so we decided to give Dave's Hot Chicken in Overland Park. The prices are a little steep for chicken tenders and fries but we stayed anyway. Our chicken was fresh and seasoned well. We ordered the medium spice level -- it was spicy but not too much. The slider had a kale slaw that muted the spice. My oldest son and I tried medium hot chicken today and it was so good, we are still talking about it hours later. Great portion size for the price in this inflation tinged market. Excellent job, Chicken is juicier than anywhere else and the spice is incredible.
First time trying this restaurant. Walked in and it was very busy. At first was worried about finding a seat but we did. We ordered the two tenders with fries. I did not get any sauce. My husband had the mild. The chicken was very juicy and the coating was crunching and very tasty. The fries had a coating on them which brought them to life! I guess I'm just spoiled. I really don't want to be negative here but to me Dave's just doesn't live up to the social media hype. It's overpriced and isn't even all that great. Is it good. Sure. Any place that marinates real pieces of chicken, seasons it well, hand breads it, and serves it freshly fried to order is going to be "good," but I guess I was expecting to be shocked or blown away, and this just wasn't that. This is definitely one of my favorite chicken places! The portions are generous, the flavor and crunch is on point, the buns are soft, the fries are classic, the kale slaw is great. It would be nice to put in requests when ordering on the app as I would ask that the slaw be in the side (little bit of distance away and that would help keep the chicken crunchy). We ordered two of the #2 sliders to go. Always a pleasant experience at this location. Great food. Great service. If you haven't tried it, Dave's Hot Chicken is seriously the best hot chicken in town:
