I guess I'm just spoiled. I really don't want to be negative here but to me Dave's just doesn't live up to the social media hype. It's overpriced and isn't even all that great. Is it good. Sure. Any place that marinates real pieces of chicken, seasons it well, hand breads it, and serves it freshly fried to order is going to be "good," but I guess I was expecting to be shocked or blown away, and this just wasn't that. This is definitely one of my favorite chicken places! The portions are generous, the flavor and crunch is on point, the buns are soft, the fries are classic, the kale slaw is great. It would be nice to put in requests when ordering on the app as I would ask that the slaw be in the side (little bit of distance away and that would help keep the chicken crunchy). We ordered two of the #2 sliders to go. Always a pleasant experience at this location. Great food. Great service. If you haven't tried it, Dave's Hot Chicken is seriously the best hot chicken in town:

Beware the hot is super hot! Mediuim has no spice and the hot was BA-WOWEE super hot - it was was mouth and lips hot burning for over an hour! They were kind enough to replace it with a medium at no extra charge.

First time trying Dave's and it was great. I paid 15 dollars for 2 sliders and fries which in my opinion is a very good deal. The food also came out quick. The Chicken was very juicy and flavorful. The fries were also very good. I would compare the sauce to Freddy's fry sauce but with more mayonnaise, overall fine sauce. Ambiance was good with good music playing and good wall decor.

Tried Dave's Hot Chicken and it was really good! The service was top notch and the ambience was great as well. We ordered the Sliders and the Tenders with mild spice. Just right and very flavorful. The tenders were huge so had to take one home. If you're brave enough the spice level ranges from no spice to Carolina Reaper. Will definitely be back for sure lunch again!

The staffs were friendly, though they did miss my order the first time. It would've been nice if they offered things like honey packets without needing to ask. Overall, the tables were kept clean as well as the bathroom. I liked how there were plenty of parking available. Ended up ordering Dave's #2, which comes with two sliders and fries. Been wanting to try this place out since their grand opening but it is never in our way. Tonight, we made the trip. Totally worth it! 10/10 I was not feeling the heat so I got #4 (chicken slider with coleslaw, fries, and pickle) with "mild" level . It did not disappoint! Don't be fooled by "slider" It is as big as regular chicken sandwhich. However, I wish it was chicken pattie and not 2 pieces of tenders on burger buns. It kept falling apart.
