TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The sandwiches at Dave's are usually really good. I always get two sliders with cheese. The service can sometimes be slow so we've learned to order ahead and pick it up to go instead. The ambiance is nice and the wall graffiti is fun to look at. The spice levels vary each time we've gotten them. Sometimes the mild is spicy, and other times it's not spicy at all. We actually had a very nice experience today! Came in during lunch rush and got through the order line quickly and got our food fast. Great menu selection and heat options. We were impressed with the freshness and spices, the crispy fries and the quality of the chicken. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends!

It's delicious service always good. spice levels are from not spicy to super spicy. Fries are good too and shakes are awesome

Daves Hot Chicken Was Actually Okay! Upon Walking In We Were Greeted By A Relaxed Vibe And A Super Kind Server. I Ordered 2 Tenders And A Slider And This Totaled About $20 Which Is A Little More Expensive Then What Im Used To For Tenders. $5 Per Tender Is Pretty Steep However, The Quality Of The Chicken Was Good And The Flavor Was Tasty! There Just Wasn't Anything That Would Make Me Want To Come Back To Dave's As A Regular However, If You Haven't Been, I Would Suggest Trying It!
Not really worth the money spent. 2 skinny chicken tenders, Kale slaw for $11.99 Service was only ok. Had to wait about 10 minutes. Ambiance was so loud, you could not hear the person in front of you to talk to them.
