We are huge fan of Hattie B's in Nashville. Obviously Nashville is a bit far away so we always try to find good hot chicken locally. We thought we would give Dave's a shot. It was sooooooo good! The most legit hot chicken in our area, we have tried a lot of them to give Dave's that title. We live nearly two hours north of Dave's but we will gladly make the trip often for that hot chicken! The staff were friendly and the order came out fast. Highly recommended.

The chicken flavor was very good and I liked the spice level of the medium chicken that I got. The portions were generous but overall I feel it was a little pricey for what we got and compared to other chicken restaurants. I would probably come back to try one of the other items, their sandwich was very good, but basically it was chicken Strips on a bun. The Dave's "not so chicken" is to die for! My husband and I both prefer the cauliflower over the chicken, the texture and taste of the breading is AMAZING! My other obsession from Dave's is their pickles! For the love of god ...please someone tell me where I can buy a whole jar? What brand are they?!?!?

My boyfriend and I went on a day when the line was quite short and the service was fast-- I think that really helped this experience start off on the right foot. When we got our meal, we were very satisfied with the flavor and freshness of our food! Our expectations were pretty low to start-- it's fast food. But, I would say this place ranks in the highest tier of fast-foods. It's a place my boyfriend and I would go for a very casual date. If you're a huge fan of chicken strips, try this place out!!
