TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Super good food, first time back in a while. Crunchy, flavorful tenders and fries. Hit the spot right after a good run. I just wish they put out the honey to grab cuz I forgot and already finished my food, but ik it would've made it even better. Super nice staff, fast and friendly service. Did not wait long, open tables and seats during lunchtime even though I expected there to be no seating. Good ambiance.
Food is delicious, made quick to order, and in great portions. Definitely check it out.
Chicken had really good flavor and the sauce and honey combo was amazing. Everyone working was really nice and seemed like they wanted to be here. Really liked the lights and energy in here as well, will come again!
Best chicken I've ever put in my mouth, life experience necessity 10/10. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Vibes in here are immaculate.
Food was great never been here before. Got two chicken tenders. That were huge fries were wonderful. The Dave's sauce was spicy but flavorful you can get it many different types of spice and it's rubbed in. I got medium and it was fine. We definitely go hotter next time cool ambience with the music playing. Not cheap but no fast food as these days service was impeccable definitely go back.

We were in the mood for some hot chicken so we decided to give Dave's Hot Chicken in Overland Park. The prices are a little steep for chicken tenders and fries but we stayed anyway. Our chicken was fresh and seasoned well. We ordered the medium spice level -- it was spicy but not too much. The slider had a kale slaw that muted the spice. My oldest son and I tried medium hot chicken today and it was so good, we are still talking about it hours later. Great portion size for the price in this inflation tinged market. Excellent job, Chicken is juicier than anywhere else and the spice is incredible.
First time trying this restaurant. Walked in and it was very busy. At first was worried about finding a seat but we did. We ordered the two tenders with fries. I did not get any sauce. My husband had the mild. The chicken was very juicy and the coating was crunching and very tasty. The fries had a coating on them which brought them to life!
