TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

All around great place to eat! Loved the great customer service and the outstanding food. I personally had the #3 and it was fantastic. The bathroom was also very clean. The restaurant and decorations were very cool. 10/10
Dakota was dope. Food exquisite. The shake tho, otherworldly. The rest is just words to fill up the requirements made by yelp so disregard the last sentence of this review as it is useless.
This kicks Chick-fil-as butt. This is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The bun was amazing soft and sweet. The chicken was spicy but not to much. I had the mild. The breading on the chicken was just right!! The fries were also amazing. Seasoned to perfection. The sauce hands down beats Chick-fil-a. It's pricey but well worth it. The chicken sandwich with slaw, pickles, and cheese was good. The service on the other hand was slow since it was busy.
Food is good , I believe it's over priced. We paid double of what we pay for same food in other places.
Dave's makes very tasty chicken sandwiches. Popeyes is still my fave though, because their bread is so amazing- like brioche. Dave's bread is just a regular ol' plain bun. Our fries were well salted, but definitely could've been warmer. We dined inside the restaurant, and it was very clean- always nice! Very welcoming, polite staff.
My regular lunch buddy noticed this place while he was out and about earlier this week and when I asked if he was free for lunch today this was the place he chose. Neither of us had been there, but we enjoy trying new restaurants, so off we went on a new food adventure. The venue itself is very unassuming. Bright colors and graffiti styled art adorn the walls. While the quantities are large the prices are still a little out there. I'd rather pay a little less and get normal sized chicken strips instead of the weirdly & slightly concerning sized strips. The angle of the picture does not do justice to size of them
Tried Dave's Hot Chicken for dinner this week. We must have gone at just the right time, because there was no line and we got our food very quickly. All the front counter help were super friendly. The hot has amazing flavor, and the tenders are so crispy with just the right amount of heat. The medium was good, but I'd get Hot and the extra Hot next time.
