I've stopped in here to pick up dinner, and ordered via DoorDash a few times now, so I think it's fair to say I'm a fan. There was a ton of hype surrounding Dave's when it first opened so I was a bit worried it might be overblown as often new chains that open up in the area are. We are huge fan of Hattie B's in Nashville. Obviously Nashville is a bit far away so we always try to find good hot chicken locally. We thought we would give Dave's a shot. It was sooooooo good! The most legit hot chicken in our area, we have tried a lot of them to give Dave's that title. We live nearly two hours north of Dave's but we will gladly make the trip often for that hot chicken! The staff were friendly and the order came out fast. Highly recommended.

The chicken flavor was very good and I liked the spice level of the medium chicken that I got. The portions were generous but overall I feel it was a little pricey for what we got and compared to other chicken restaurants. I would probably come back to try one of the other items, their sandwich was very good, but basically it was chicken Strips on a bun. Food is consistent, and delicious. Our three year old's favorite place. Today he asked to come here, then during lunch said THIS IS THE BEST LUNCH EVER WITH MY FAMILY. Our big kids will be jealous we came without them. Do yourself a favor and eat Daves!
The Dave's "not so chicken" is to die for! My husband and I both prefer the cauliflower over the chicken, the texture and taste of the breading is AMAZING! My other obsession from Dave's is their pickles! For the love of god ...please someone tell me where I can buy a whole jar? What brand are they?!?!?
