I first discovered Dave's Hot Chicken when I lived in Florida. Moving to the North Shore, I was excited to try another branch of this chain to see how it compared. This time I tried the hand-cut cauliflower bites AKA Dave's Not Chicken. These were crispy, crunchy, and perfectly coated in Dave's signature seasoning. While not exactly the same as chicken, it was a tasty healthier alternative that I look forward to trying again.

First, I need to mention an employee named Andre. The man brings hospitality back to the fast food scene. He was so kind, helpful and uplifting. He noticed my daughter in her sports uniform , decked out with a medal and asked if she won. When she broke the news they were runners up, he had nothing but praise and inspiring words. Alright, so Dave's Hot Chicken is pretty fire, right? The chicken is super juicy and the spice levels are no joke. I usually go for the mild or medium because the hot can be intense! The kale slaw is a good side to cool things down. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're craving some spicy chicken!
