Daves Hot Chicken in Saugus is not like Woburn or any other location. The Saugus branch needs attention from corporate, similar to that scene in the movie "McDonald's" where expansion compromises quality control. The recipe at this Saugus location tastes as if it were made by my little brother. I was extremely disappointed, spending my Saturday sulking over how poorly this location represented Daves Hot Chicken. Thought I would try Dave's Hot Chicken in Saugus tonight (Monday) as it was late and had to drive past it. It was meh. I think their only advantage is being open late. Fries were horrible. Chicken nothing special. I do not like spice, so had it plain. The pickles were good. I ordered online for pickup and requested ketchup for the fries.
