With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Juicy, tender, flavorful, and hits the spot! The Kale slaw that comes with the sandwich, helps provide a smooth creaminess with a crunch. The fries are okay, but the sandwich is why you come to this establishment...
The sandwich is standard and tastes great with the sauce. We arrived around 4 pm and it wasn't busy. The register person was on his phone and didn't pay attention when we were ordering so we had to repeat it a couple of times. The spiciness isn't too bad compared to other chicken places. The fries are thicker cut and pairs well with the sandwich. Plenty of seating and parking right next to the restaurant. Right off route 1 so it's convenient if you're craving a chicken sandwich.
I don't understand why this place is getting crummy reviews. It's amazing. I mean, it's fast food - and it appears to be made to order. That said, I didn't give it 5 stars bc my fries were cold. However, I noticed that the people ahead of me asked for new fries and junior, from DHC got them new ones asap! Dude was on it and was also really friendly. So, hard to hate this place ! Dave's hot chicken was yummy. The chicken was tender the spice was good and the fries had a nice spice on them. Not too impressed with the sauce. The service at the register was great. Super nice and personable. However the order we received was wrong. I asked for no pickles, slaw on the side and sauce on the side. I received pickles, no slaw, and sauce on my sandwich.
They opened xa new Dave's in saugas mass. Good food chicken tenders and fries. Good service nice breading on the chicken. Very good.
Had to stop by when I saw it was spicy chicken. It did not disappoint. The line and wait was not too long. Food came out fresh and hot. Chicken was juicy, and fries were flavorful! The medium spicy was just enough heat but we will try a higher level as we were scared it might be too spicy. My husband enjoyed it and we will be back.
I found the menu to be a bit limited. The food was average and expensive. The resteraunt was nicley decorated and comfortble.
So when I pulled up to this place, I was expecting something basic, maybe even a bit dull, but I was wrong. The place looked great, service was nice and the people there were pretty cool. NOW THE FOOD, I asked for food to be spicy, and this place delivered, the mac n cheese is so good, and the sauce was on point. The chicken was so good that I almost cried, but I will say the guy was right about hot being spicy as hell. Still 8/10 experience
