Glad I made it a couple of days after they opened and just prior to noon on a Sunday, so the line was short and the wait was relatively quick; maybe 10-15 minutes tops. The chicken tenders were great and the spicy level on each of the tenders I tried were increasingly hot. I sampled the Lite Mild, Medium, Hot and Extra hot and as much of a spice person as I am, I don't see myself signing a waiver to get the reaper tenders. The owner came out welcoming everyone for coming out and trying the place . They're very welcoming! Much better than the qdoba that was here and then vacant for years! Very uplifting environment plenty of seating . The hot chicken was fantastic! Great to have a good chicken place nearby. I got the number 3 with extra fry's! One tender and a slider . Check this place out!

Alhamdulillah that we finally have a Dave's in Buffalo. I was lucky enough to be there opening day (yesterday) and stood in a line in the rain because was so stoked. Not all hot chicken places are the same and Dave's dry rub is unique. I usually order hot and may attempt extra hot next time but no higher. I think this spot is going to be busy all the time, which is exciting, and like the other Yelpers have written, the flavor is great and the fries are also surprising good. Add the extra pickles to reduce the heat :)

First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and it was delicious! The chicken was juicy and the dry rub had great flavor. The fries had a good seasoning on them and were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I preferred the chicken tenders over the sliders. Tried the mild spice level this time around but I could probably go up to medium next time. It was very clean in the restaurant (but they did just open today). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Delicious and worth the wait! The chicken is excellent quality. I got the lite mild chicken and it barely had any spice, which was fine by me! My husband got hot and extra hot. He liked both and the extra hot definitely lived up to its name. If you want the Reaper, you have to sign a waiver. While I expected the chicken to be good, I didn't really have expectations for the fries or pickles and wow, was I surprised! Food is pretty good but this location is seriously so disorganized. I have been here 3x in a year and waited 25+ minutes inside the restaurant after placing my order online and coming at the appropriate pickup time. I did not realize just how disorganized this location was until I went to the one in blasdell 2x this week and my food was actually ready within 3 minutes of when it said it was supposed to be. Not to mention that location has only been open for not even a week and its already way more organized/better management... read more

Listen, I'm not from NY, I'm from TX, and the Dave's hot chicken there no matter how packed, or empty it is, they get it out on time. It took them... I'm not joking, 30 mins to get my food. I'm just saying if you want to get your food on time, don't waste your time here. And PS, they were full staff.

We've been loyal customers of the Tonawanda location since it opened and have always loved it. Today, however, we had a disappointing experience that left us questioning whether we'll return.
