Listen, I'm not from NY, I'm from TX, and the Dave's hot chicken there no matter how packed, or empty it is, they get it out on time. It took them... I'm not joking, 30 mins to get my food. I'm just saying if you want to get your food on time, don't waste your time here. And PS, they were full staff.

We've been loyal customers of the Tonawanda location since it opened and have always loved it. Today, however, we had a disappointing experience that left us questioning whether we'll return. We placed a pickup order and arrived about 5-10 minutes early. While waiting, my 6-year-old asked for some water. We requested a water cup, but the staff at the front told us they were out. They've brought back the cauliflower not-chicken for vegetarians. However, I am still giving them one star because their system for pick up orders is absolutely terrible. I placed my order online at 10:50am for soonest available, and when I showed up, they said the order is set for 11:15am so they won't even receive the order until 11am. The place was empty and for 10 minutes they could've been making my order, but instead my order was being held back. Highly disappointed when I went to Dave's because the food is actually really good. But this is the little bit of greens they put on my sandwich. It's so skimpy!! The chicken was great, exactly what I ordered and the fries were fine too.

Coming here today this was my first time, coming into here I had high hopes, the service was good, and I liked the buzzer situation. It was a good idea and the setting area was decent. For the food situation I got the Dave bites mild heat and fries. Along with Dave sauce and one of there freezes that came with a souvenir cup. The bites to me had a bad flavor for rub that came on it was very sweet and did not compliment the chicken IMO, the actual chicken was juicy but I juts couldn't get past the outside. I'm sorry but the chicken was so nasty my daughter would not even eat it. It sort of tasted like the grease had not been changed and it tasted like it was burnt and had no season on it at all. The rest of my experience there was ok. and I don't usually do reviews but after paying 28.00 dollars for the two meals I was quite upset mainly because my daughter could not eat hers. They got rid of the the cauliflower sandwiches, so there's nothing for vegetarians to eat here anymore. Disappointing. Won't be coming back anymore now.
