Be forewarned the Hot is hot AF but the chicken is perfectly executed juicy inside and crispy outside and absolutely worth the burn! Two is a very filling portion as the tenders are huge. The fries are crinkled and crispy. I got cheese on the side and it was a cute amount for .49. Drink is not included sadly. They are clearly cooked to order and taste just that. I thought this was a decent chicken spot, inspired by Nashville chicken style chicken. Reminded me a lot of Hot Chicks down the road. I really like the decor and cleanliness of this place. It was pretty busy as well which to me means it's pretty popular The menu was simple but in a good way. I ordered the chicken tender meal which came with fries. Really good. I also ordered a strawberry shake which was just okay to me. Overall I'd recommend giving them a try.

Ok all first I am no longer a fast food type of guy but this place can change my mind. Since it opened I kept seeing long lines at this place and would say to myself "if just chicken; what's the big deal". First time here the place is cool looks clean well maintained. Unless you are a seasoned spice enthusiast, most recommend avoiding the Reaper level. Dave's hot chicken is a recent addition to Pembroke Pines -Iv been wanting to try it , but ended up waiting a couple months due to huge public excitement & long lines. It was delicious... different from the KFC & Chick fil A in the same plaza . This place uses large, juicy pieces covered in a " fine dust " of flavor powder on the crispy chicken. Finally had Dave's hot chicken and it did not live up to my expectations. Several people have really hyped this place up and my first experience fell short. I had the two sandwich combo. I loved the bread, the sauce and the extra pickles on the side. The regular tender had good flavor but was did not taste fresh which was disappointing. Finally Dave's Hot Chicken has come to my hood. With apologies to the Rock, I didn't know this was a thing. And fair disclosure I'm not the best person to review this group of restaurants. It's an exception for me not the rule. I love the backstory and love the purity of focus. The fries are very good. A perfectly crispy crinkle fry is rare. Well seasoned and worth the trip alone. I visited Dave's hot chicken for the first time today. There was a long line, so I knew it had to be good. Hans took my order at the register. He is the true definition of customer service and leadership. He was friendly, thorough, and efficient. I will definitely be back.
