TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Solid 4. Best hot chicken in the area (not many competitors though), but wouldn't wait in line for it either. I recommend going when the hype dies down.

The food is fire. That's the most important thing to know. The best hot chicken in the area. The fries are seasoned well. The meat tastes fresh. Everything was perfect with the food. The ambiance and vibe was cool. Trendy and modern and a sort of wynwood vibe. Good stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful. First off before I begin my review I have to say that I am obsessed with Dave's hot chicken I have tried it several times before this location opened and it's always been so amazing! I checked out Dave's Hot Chicken the day after it opened (not sure if is considered in soft launch). And I think it's worth the hype! The service was nice, they kept the tables and drink area stocked and clean, and they've got a good handful of tables in a really cool graffiti space! You can grab sliders, whole tenders, tender bites or a combo of both. I tried both the slider on a potato bun and whole tenders and they were both delicious and well seasoned! Just like the fries. i recommend the sliders WITH cheese at your fav spice level! :) the chicken pieces are huge and my fries were super nice and crispy. i really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. shout out to the assistant manager Hans, super nice guy. i will be back once the lines are not out the door!

Today I waited in line 1hr5min from start to finish as the line was to the curb (corner lot). I had the chicken slider (sandwich) and fries. Everything taste fresh and I loved how cold the kale slaw and the pickles were. The fries were good as well. The only downside was the size of the chicken looked much smaller than what was advertised but still a descent portion. My husband and I were fortunate enough to make it to the soft launch of the new Dave's hot chicken location in Pembroke Pines. The staff did such and amazing job handling the volume of the soft launch im sure they will do an amazing job with their opening!
