The food was fine. The toast was surprisingly disappointing. We came at 5 PM on a Saturday and surprisingly waited a long time (30 minutes) although it was empty. The restaurant smelled awful inside to the point where when we left people were waiting in a line to sit on the patio.

Dave's Hot Chicken is my absolute favorite chicken place. I first tried them in Oregon several years ago and have been waiting for a local restaurant to open. We stopped by opening day and were not disappointed. The place was clean and staff friendly even though they were packed with a line out the door. I had the sliders and fries meal in medium, mac & cheese and a vanilla shake. Medium is just spicy enough that you get a little kick but can still taste your food. Everything was great. Waited until the hype and lines died down to give this new spot a try. I can see the potential hype but personally thought it was good but not great. Overall everything was flavorful. Warning on the reaper heat level as it is no joke!!! I ate the whole chicken sandwich with the reaper flavor and boy did I regret it The chicken does sit heavy in your stomach and I think one sandwich is more than enough to have .... 3rd visit here at Dave's and they're pretty consistent. My first visit I got the mild spice, my second visit I got the medium spice and today I got the hot spice. Hot was the perfect spice, not too too hot and not too mild. Just a heads up, the spice level from medium to hot is a jump. The service is solid and the wait time isn't terrible but you will wait 20-25 min for your food as an average wait time. Overall, Dave's has it! 4 G's.

Absolutely amazing chicken wow wow. On top of everything it is halal. Definitely recommend it. A little pricey but worth it.

If you're looking for good tenders, Dave's Hot Chicken is the place! I was eager to try them as the lines have been pretty long since their opening. It did not disappoint. The Tender slider was the perfect combination to spicy and sweet. The kale slaw was delicious and the soft bun was excellent. The Mac and cheese was also the perfect amount of cheesy. The food did take a while to come out, but as I mention a lot of people are dining here as of recent.

I have been DYING to have Dave's for years! And it's finally here and I'm all for it! I ordered via delivery so I don't have anything to input about service or the store. Another review will definitely cover that. But let me. Tell. You. The food was the BOMB. Just like the Costco guys the sandwiches and Mac and cheese brought the BOOM. However, huge reason I'm not giving this 5 stars... it was a small order... and you forgot a crucial thing which was the milkshakes!
