I called and they were able to get me in as a new patient on the same day. Everybody at the office was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Hernandez took his time and listened to everything and put together a plan. I would recommend this practice to anybody

I saw Dr. Acuna within 3 hours of calling their office for an appointment! He was very thorough and explained my condition well. He did not seem rushed, and I didn't have to wait long for him to see me upon check in. Overall, I would recommend him. My husband and I absolutely adore him! My husband had an unknown medical condition that Dr. Acuna was able to address after only his first visit! My husband had been suffering with this condition for at least 1.5 years. My family and I have been associated with this office of excellent physicians for several years now. Each doctor is completely focused on patient care. The confidence of knowing any doctor you see is more than competent if your doctor is unavailable is a huge comfort to me. Their referrals outside of their office within the Honor Health System have been the best in the valley. They have been equally devoted to patient care. New to Az, the two hardest things to establish are a new hair stylist and a primary care physician. Desert Ridge Family Physicians was recommended and was easy to get to. I wasn't sure I was going to like the same day/next day appt. system but I have yet to have a problem. My husband and I both see Dr. Michelle Velasquez. Great, convenient location in North Phoenix. The staff are friendly and professional. Samantha, the nurse that comes in before the doctor was fun yet professional. Dr. Katy Kirk was a good listener, knowledgeable, relateable, and showed compassion and empathy for the myriad of ailments I came in for. Same day appointment? Check! Next day appointment? Check! I decide I need to go to the doctors only when I need to go and while I love waiting for a month to get in, this place breaks the mold. This hospital is right up my alley. I called yesterday and scheduled my appointment for the next day. This is their business model. This office is terrible. The doctors are qualified but their office staff is complete brain damage to work with. In the past 2 years we have not been able to get in if we we(or a child) was sick in short time so we always end up at urgent care. Last week they would not make an appointment by phone(against policy unless it is for the same week) and won't accept an appointment in person(happened to be in the building). Directed us to website. Don't bother calling this practice, they aren't accepting any new patients. I used to be a patient of one of their doctors but even that didn't matter, they said no. Weird, that's the first time I've ever had a doctors office say they won't accept a new patient. It must be a really good practice if they are that busy, but I will never get to find out. So if you haven't been there before, don't think you will be able too. Very disappointing.

Dr Suedekum is an amazing caring physician and I drive many miles to continue to have her as my Primary Care physician. The appointment within the next day or two is very welcome.
