I love this office and my primary care physician, Dr. Lau. My mom, dad, brother, and I have been patients of Dr. Lau for at least 10 years. We all have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Lau and this practice. She is very thorough with her appointments and never makes you feel like she is in a rush. Her medical advice is always explained in a way that can be easily understood by her patients. I love the fact that I can email Dr. Lau with a medical question or concern and hear back from her within a day or two. She is ... read more

Clearly this office only wants to deal with certain cases and workers comp is NOT one of them. Unfortunately you cannot count on being provided accurate information by the office staff. I needed to get in quickly and we were assured to call at 7:45am on Tuesday morning and they would get me in, no problem. So I dragged myself out of bed early only to be told, no we can't get you because we have 3 physicians out of the office this week and we need to get our existing patients in first. No apology, no acknowledgment that this ... read more

I just called to get my daughter checked out as she has a rash all over her body. Unfortunately they will not see her because she is a new patient and there isn't any "new patient appointments" open today, even though my husband and son have already established care there. I explained to the receptionist that this is not a well check but an appointment specifically to look at her rash and give me peace of mind or if there is actually cause for concern. They are the medical professionals and point blank say " I can't help you... read more

After suffering through the weekend with a sinus infection, I went into their office. I usually see Dr. Luba but as she was on vacation they scheduled me with Dr. Turner. DON'T SEE HER!!!!!! She was very rude to me during the exam, and during the exam acted like my pain was an inconvenience to her bedside manner, or the lack thereof. She prescribed antibiotics, to continue to take nasal decongestants and advil. The following day I was in so much pain I called in to request pain medication. Her assistant called to tell... read more

Finding a new primary care physician/practice following a move is stressful under the best of circumstances. Mine were not the best of circumstances. Following two separate admissions and discharges from two different hospitals in a one week span was such a situation. I was referred to the Desert Ridge Family Physicians by a hospital social worker, and my experience has been comparable only to the warm embrace of a loved one following a particularly traumatic experience. My fear was that I would need to track down all of the... read more

This is a review revolving around several negative interactions with this office in person, and on the telephone. In person Dr Rodriguez did not address our issues. My wife left the office feeling so bad about her visit with Dr Rodriguez, that we scheduled another visit with Dr Rodriguez. For this Visit Her Mother attended. This time she felt so frustrated by the lack of communication and understanding by Dr Rodriguez that she was actually in tears, crying during this visit. While trying to schedule and communicate with Dr R... read more

HORRIBLE. I have attempted to get an appointment for my father and now myself with this office. My Dad needed a doctor when he moved here awhile back; we were referred to this group and it was convenient so we thought we'd try them. They put us off no less than 6 times. You have to call 'same day, next day'. I have never dealt with an office like this ...ever. So had a little 'learning curve' re: how it works. The appointment person was almost condescending when I asked how that works. Once I understood, I compli... read more

I'm writing this as an ex-patient, wishing that my changing of insurance carrier hadn't forced me to move elsewhere. These folks are GREAT! The office is clean, they run on time, I don't understand the negative comments as the front desk has always been welcoming to me. As someone with a range of difficult chronic conditions it's important to me to have a doctor I can trust and who can see me in a timely manner. Dr Mark Luba was my PCP and he would follow up by email to see how things were. How cool is that? I never felt rus... read more

Do not get Dr. Patricia Rodriguez - she is very rude. I had gone in to see her today because this was the second time that my primary physician was not available when I was. I have been working 80 hours a week for months and it has been affecting my health in many ways. She had no sympathy for me and told me that my primary had to fill out the restricted work schedule paperwork. If I had known that, I wouldn't have come in, but the office scheduled me anyways. She made it seem like it was my fault. She told me my primary is ... read more
