I have been seeing Dr. Emily Edwards for several years, and I could not recommend her more highly! She is thorough and VERY knowledgeable. She also takes her time and I never feel rushed. The MA's are excellent as well. As a nurse, I know a good physician when I see one and Dr. Edwards is fantastic.

The attitude at this place is incomprehensible. I simply questioned the Dr's assistant politely as to why I have completed an electronic patient info survey as well as a hand written one, and she was asking me the same very questions all over again, just curious. Shockingly, she than returned to the room asking me to now take another electronic "Mental Health Survey" and dropped it on me like I was a problem. If I could give Desert Ridge Family Physicians office zero stars I would. Two weeks ago my doctor changed my thyroid medication without telling me or getting blood work done. I made an appointment as soon as I could to see him. Because of how I am feeling, tired, lethargic, foggy brained, I went to the wrong building. I was nine minutes late for my appointment. Dr.Gazda is the best physician I have had the pleasure of dealing with! He is compassionate, caring,. Just an all around great person'! The first time I met him 5 years ago I loved him! I've had 4 strokes and everything he does he works around things for me within reason of course! Just to bad he's so far away or my family would all see him! I take the hour drive as needed! I've been going to DRFP for 6 years. The care and dedication from both their physicians and wonderful staff are top notch. Dr. Velasquez is brilliant and warm, a very caring doctor. She spends time and is an active listener. I'm in good hands there, you will be too!

Dr. Gazda is the best. I'm not usually one to get all worked up about a family physician but Dr. Gazda is something special. We started going to him when he was previously in Mesa and it was a no brained for us to follow him even after he moved to N Phx. He's fantastic with my daughter and as long as I'm in the valley he'll be the only Dr I'll see. Made an appointment with this practice for the first time. One star for accepting a new patient and same day appointment however complete waste of time. Saw Dr. Wheeler for a sore throat/trouble swallowing lasting over a week. She said it could be mono and no test for strep. I asked her what would a diagnosis for mono do to which there is no treatment for to which she said but at least you'll know what you have.
