Great For Work Calls Pros: I love, love, love Uber Conference. First of all, it's free. Which is fantastic. Second, you get your own line and conference call pin, which means that you will have a line open for client calls 100% of the time. No one else can take your conference number because it's yours! No problems here Pros: It makes it easy to connect for our weekly meetings. We originally used Skype but would have constant connection issues and that's no problem with UberConference. All we have to do is dial in and we're ready to go. Cons: I have yet to have any issues with this product. It has fulfilled its purpose and continues to do so.
Well-designed and Fun and Easy to Use Pros: First and foremost, it's free! (Up to 10 people) You can pay to upgrade, but I haven't needed to yet. The upgrade allows you up to 100 Participants, doesn't require a PIN, allows for international access, allows you to dial out to add guests to a call, and allows you to upload custom hold music. A great free offering Pros: I've been able to get a lot done with Uberconference, even with the free version. I use screen sharing and audio recording to do interviews, calls, and even remote usability tests. Cons: I've had some problems where customers can't log in or share their screens, and we've been forced to switch to the phone. There might be some bugs there.
Reliable and great value Pros: I've been using UberConference for years and no one has ever had an issue dialing into the call or with call quality. It's cool that it sends you a recap afterwards of all the numbers that were on the call as well as how many minutes each person spoke for. And this is only the free version! Cons: The hold music is that guy singing about being on hold which was funny at first but gets old. However I think if you have a paid account you can change it.
Best Conference Call Product Pros: This thing really sets itself apart from other conference products by not taking itself too seriously. The hold music is the most obvious example: you can choose from innocuous muzzak, custom "I'm waiting for a call" country music, or even Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up. Easy to use but limited funtionality Pros: Easy for simple conference calls and screensharing, also has fantastic hold music when others have not joined the conference yet. Worth it just for that. Cons: The screensharing doesnt always function. Overall: Pleasant
Good not great Pros: When I was working heavily with international clients, Uberconference allowed me to be able to provide international numbers to call me from. Whether they were in Africa, Asia, Europe, etc. they had a number for the specific countries so they were not charged international fees. It was a simple interface as well, nothing complex.
