As a writer, UberConference is great for recording interviews. Pros: I love that UberConference allows me to use my phone or laptop. The UI is great - I'm able to see who is on the call, where they're calling from, etc. if I'm viewing via desktop. I love that I can record and download calls, making it easier reference interviews and information discussed. We use UberConference for all our client calls. Cons: My only compliant is the quality of the audio. Sometimes it cuts out, lags, etc. making interviews difficult. Overall:... read more
Uber conference is the easiest conference service I've used Pros: You can easily see who is on the call, where they're located, and it's super easy to share your screen. Cons: My clients can see where I am, what town I'm in, and where I'm working from that day since it shows location of each caller.
Great conference call software! Pros: This gets the job done. You can do your calls, have people join easily, and record things. Definitely better than other options out there. Cons: The only con is that some smaller companies may not be able to pay for such a great product. There are free options, but you get what you pay for.
Conferencing Software without the Hassle of Downloading Pros: We've used UberConference for a number of years now and prefer it to the alternatives on the market for it's simple process of getting on a call, recording options, and the free option is great for a small team. Cons: The Google extension is needed in order to get on a web call so if you have an older demo you are prospecting, they may not fully get it the first try. Great option for free conferences and screen sharing Pros: First of all, it's free! Second of all, it doesn't require any complicated downloads; attendees can access a shared screen right from within their browser. Cons: While there are paid plans available, the free plan is missing some key features like call recording that would be really helpful. Also, the selection of hold music on the free plans is AWFUL.
The best (free) web conference tool (IMO) Pros: I love that it's free, you can customize your meeting room URL (and have your own personal room), you have a dedicated phone number and pin for those who can't attend online, it works within your browser (which means it doesn't require any software downloads and installations), it'll send you text notifications if you're late for your own meeting, AND it records your calls! We use this as a conference line for our office and it has been very easy to use. Pros: It is easily accessible with the option to screenshare readily available on any call. This is helpful for the specific technical assistance we give to our clients. Cons: Someone can enter a conference if they have the number because there is no code or PIN required. Uberconference provides a very smooth solution to group calls Pros: Uberconference is likely the most reliable of all the conferencing softwares available. Being able to send out a link for team or sales calls is simple and straightforward. Performance has been great to date and we haven't had issues with call quality like we have with other providers. Great minimal conferencing solution Pros: Its features are limited to must-have conferencing needs - audio and screen sharing. Clean and fast UI. Awesome default holds music. Cons: Mobile iOS app doesn't have VoIP capabilities, it can only make an outgoing call to the conference line. No video conferencing. 10 people free limit.
