I LOVE THIS PLACE. My Golden Retriever, Maya, is like my third child, so when I leave town (which is OFTEN), I take her to Doggie District. I am not exaggerating when I say that when I pick her up from dog day care or her overnight stays, she leaves happy and sleeps for a full day straight from all the fun and excitement. I'm reviewing DD for the first time, but we have been using DD for 6 years now and we would never try another company. Here are the TOP 5 REASONS WE LOVE THE DOGGIE DISTRICT! 1. This is one of the only boarding facilities in town that allows your dog to "run free" all day long before being placed back in his crate for dinner and bedtime. I normally don't write reviews, but I just had to go out of my way to rave about this place! I really don't understand all the negative reviews on here. I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I take my dog here about 1-2 times a week to get her energy out. I have a lab and she can get pretty crazy and the staff just loves her! I have been taking my dog to the Silverado Ranch location 2 to 3 times a week for well over a year now. I have also boarded him there several times. He is always treated well and I can tell that he enjoys it. Several of the reviewers have posted negative reviews. I can only think that they are going to other locations. I have been a Las Vegas resident for roughly two years now, and I have been taking my dog Febe here for about as long. Febe is there roughly 3-4 days a week, and I also purchase my EVO Premium dog food here, along with a few treats here and there. They also special order food if necessary and have a rewards type program for purchasing food and other items there, wherein you receive a punch card that accumulates discounts. I have been really impressed with the personel at doggie day care. They welcome the owner and the pet with great inthusisasm, and make both the owner and dog feel special. The personnel are loving and caring, and take time to talk to the owners to make sure that they understand the daily process. I've never picked up the pet where it was nothing other than happy and content with the experience of the day,. I recommend the Silverado team group to the max. I can not say enough good things about Doggie District Silverado!! We have been taking our boys Rocky & Mickey there since they opened this location and we love it! Austin has done an amazing job and Regina and the staff take great care of the dogs! My boys go crazy with excitement in the morning when we tell them it is time to go to day care and that says it all for me! I have a 3 year old Boxer who is VERY energetic and loves to interact with other dogs. I haven't left her here over night yet, but she has been here 6 full days and so far seems to enjoy the place. After day 1, the staff all knew her and welcomed her when she came back, even though she howled and announced her entrance to the facility (something she just learned). I know there are a lot of bad reviews, but I personally love the doggie district. My dog comes home tired and happy. I also left him there for 2 nights and there were no problems. The people there are friendly and the girl at the front always tries to accommodate my needs. I will continue to go to doggie district as long as my dog is happy.
