Don't waste your money and time buying generic drum like I did. I thought I was saving lots of money by buying generic drum (twice), The first generic one (discontinued) printed a couple thousand pages OK, but started showing black blotches and streaks on every page. The second generic had problems with the first and every page. Item bad It shows 30000 pages but we only print not more than 3000. And the light is red now.
Print quality declined almost immediately This drum did not hold up to normal usage, and went bad far more quickly than normal drums.
Did not work Worked for a couple weeks then started getting warnings that I needed a new drum already! Ink fades, leaks in printer, could not possibly be a name brand drum!

One Star Hardly used it and it says replace. Same thing happened with the tone. All are genuine Brother supplies

Did not work! I replaced the drum in my printer with this brand new one and the "Replace Drum" message never went away although the printer did start printing again, but after 2 days it was already not letting me print anymore because I need to replace the drum AGAIN. I would love to get a refund as these are already ridiculously expensive but I no longer have the box it came in.
otherwise I have to agree with another customer it may be a bad, not genuine product Bought mine on January 2018 and I have to replace it already . This time I'm buying more expensive from another provider and will monitor duration. If the same the is the usual life of the unit, otherwise I have to agree with another customer it may be a bad, not genuine product.
