Replacing old drum with new caused printing problems Warning messages that the old drum needed to be replaced started on my HL-L6200DW printer at 19,265 pages, so I orderd this replacement. UPDATE Feb 2022. Replacing old drum with new caused printing problems UPDATE Feb 2022: Reordered a drum "Condition: Used - Like New - Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged." What I got was a damaged box with a used drum inside. SCAM! Clearly A doesn't verify what it receives back, and simply resells it. New drum lasted only a month and half! Bought it on 5/4/2019, replaced it on 5/6/2019, return ends 6/5/2019, "Replace Drum" message on 6/17/2019. Seriously?

Lasted less than 2 months I am not sure if this drum unit was defective but given the fact that it is a genuine Brother part, I thought I was getting a good quality part. While I have had drum units last 9-12 months typically, this one lasted about 7 weeks before a streak about an inch wide started showing up on all of our prints. For something that costs $15-20, I would just pass it off and not care, but a $120 part should last. It is 1/3 of the price of a new printer. I need to get in the printer parts business.
IT CAME EMPTY! This product came EMPTY. I put it in our office printer and it said "Toner Empty." To make sure it was not the printer, I bought another toner at a local office supply store and put it in. The printer worked without a problem. I want my money back, or a FULL toner cartridge.
Does not last long It lasted maybe 4000 pages before flashing the dreaded “replace drum” message. I have had this printer for about 4 months and am on my fourth drum. Ridiculous. The knock off lasted longer. I bought the Brother brand hoping it would last longer. Nope.
